About Me
I was originally from the UK and moved to Australia in the early 90's.
I have been fascinated by the Internet ever since I first saw it mentioned on a BBS in the early 90's, and I have consequently been making websites since there were websites to make. I have often been referred to as one of the "old men" of the Internet and I'd like to think that refers more to my experience than anything else.
It took me two weeks of much frustration and many late nights spent struggling with the intricacies of Trumpet Winsock to get my first connection set up on Windows 3x, though now I spend virtually all of my time in happy Mac land.
My professional background is very varied, but has (almost) always been to do with communications in one way or another; mostly writing and web sites. Nowadays I work as a freelance web developer and sometimes consultant, depending on the situation. Please feel free to contact me directly if you're interested in hiring me.
